John Milos
John grew up in a small town where good grades in high school meant you would study either medicine, law, or electric engineering, Since he had interest in natural science and biology, he studied medicine. Already in the first year, his neighbors would greet him with "Hello, doctor." During the first year, he realized medicine is not what attracted him. Much to disappointment of his neighbors, he went to study molecular biology and acquired a master's degree. After graduation, he first went to work in scientific research and co-authored two scientific publications. Later, he moved to industry but remained deeply interested in science.
In his childhood, he discovered the science fiction and the first SF novel he read was, like for many others, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas by Jules Verne. He grew up with the novels written by Arthur C. Clarke, Michael Crichton, and other SF classics, often thinking about writing SF novels himself. Many years later, his childhood wish became a reality.
His favorite topics are the controversial phenomena lying on the brink of modern science. While the topics of his stories belong to hard science fiction, he writes about them in a language and a style understandable and interesting to a wide audience.
John lives in the European Union.
